Passage: Exodus 18:1-27
Category: Christian Life and Growth
Keywords: ambition , god's power , grace , weary in well doing
Moses experienced some of the most amazing acts of God when he led the children of Israel out of Egypt. But now he was encamped by the Mount of God attempting to maintain the needs of countless people on his own. Jethro, his father-in-law saw what he was doing and offered him some much needed advice. Then he made a statement that principally directed Moses - ...If God command thee so, then thou shalt be able... Whenever we have a clear command of God, He will always be there to provide the grace and the enablement to see to it that His command is carried out. We must be willing take that next step. Passage: Romans 3:5-8
Series: Romans Study
Category: Doctrine
Keywords: excuses , justifying , salvation , sin , unrighteousness
Men and women are prone to make excuses for their sin, this is even so of religious men and women. Paul is tearing down the erroneous arguments of his Jewish countrymen. He knew the mindset well, he was entrenched in it for a good portion of his life. But Christ convicted him and brought him to the understanding of his own unrighteousness in the sight of God. Paul humbly responded, God graciously saved him. Until we are willing to confess our own unrighteousness, we will never be a candidate for God's salvation - because God only saves sinners. Listen to this all important truth. Click for full description and audio files

Passage: John 9:1-41
Series: Soulwinning
Category: Salvation message
Keywords: 9/11 , blind , blindness , faith , salvation , saved , spiritual blindness
Fifteen years ago today, 2,977 people had no idea that September 11, 2001 would be their last day on planet earth. Why? Because they were blind to the fact that the enemy was on the way to destroy their lives. Blindness is a serious condition. It causes us to be subject to many dangers we cannot see. Physical blindness is but one form of blindness. Spiritual blindness has dangers even more consequential. But the good news is, Jesus can heal blind eyes. He can open our eyes and cause us to see not only the dangers, but the truth that can set us free. Listen and see how. Click for full description and audio files

Passage: Psalms 139:1-24
Series: Psalms Study
Category: Doctrine
Keywords: everlasting , hide , humility , omniscience , significance , transparency , god knows all
As kids we have all played the game of hide and seek, and truth be known, even adults seem to enjoy the game. There is a certain enchantment that seems to accompany not being found. The funny thing is, somehow we think we can even play the game with God. This Psalm makes it abundantly clear that God know all about us. There is no place we can hide from God. There is no thing we can hide from God. God sees it all and knows the reasons why. When a person finally comes to understand this fully, their life can be transformed and God can lead them in ways that will have everlasting significance. Click for full description and audio files

Passage: Habakkuk 2:6-20
Series: A Study Through Habakkuk
Category: Doctrine
Keywords: coveteousness , judgment , sin , woe , worry , worship
God gave the prophet 4 responsibilities in chapter 2 - (1) Write down what I am about to tell you (2) Make it plain for all to see (3) Live by faith according what I tell you (4) Proclaim my Five Woes of Judgment. Each of God's five woes earmarked one or more of the sinful practices of the Chaldeans which God purposed to judge at His appointed time. But tucked in between these five dreadful woes we find two glorious truths set in stark contrast to the sinful practice of these godless people. Listen and find out what they are. They transformed Habakkuk from a worrying prophet into a worshipping prophet, they may do the same for you. Click for full description and audio files
