Are You An Empty Bucket or a Bubbling Brook?
by Bob Graham (Apr 29 2012)
Series: The Impact of a Changed Life
The story of the Woman at the Well is a wonderful illustration of the impact an individual can have upon many others when the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ genuinely changes them. This dear lady came to Jesus with an empty bucket, looking to fill it and once again quench her physical thirst. Little did she know that the man sitting by that well was able to supply her with much more than another drink of water. He spoke to her of a well of living water that would spring up within her and satisfy the very thirst of her soul. She met the Christ that day, left her old empty bucket behind and immediately began to bring others to that blest fountain.
Why On Earth Am I Here?
by Bob Graham (Apr 22 2012)
Series: 4 Basic Questions About Life
For thousands of years, man has been puzzled with this very simple question - Why Am I Here? The reason there is so much confusion about the matter is due to the fact that men have attempted to answer the question from their own perspective. Philosophers and Self-Help authors have produced tons of literature on the subject, but the bulk of their rhetoric ignores the testimony of the God who created them. The Word of God gives clear testimony regarding our purpose on earth. Anyone who cares to know, can find the answers there. This message presents seven clear cut purposes of life for each and every person on planet earth.
Where Did I Come From?
by Bob Graham (Mar 18 2012)
Series: 4 Basic Questions About Life
Where did we come from? Thousands of years ago, men tried to answer this question through various myths, today men have sought to answer it through science. Charles Spurgeon said back in 1877, "What is science? The method by which man tries to conceal his ignorance. It should not be so, but so it is." The fact of the matter is, many of our so-called scientists have been indoctrinated with beliefs of secular humanism and serve it religiously, even to the point that they completely neglect the testimony of Almighty God. In spite of what science reports, we do have the answer to this question. God has not left us without testimony to this foundational question. Though we lack the witness of men on the scene, we clearly have the witness of the One who was not only present, but the active agent in all that was created.
Who Am I?
by Bob Graham (Feb 26 2012)
Series: 4 Basic Questions About Life
The seven sons of Sceva attempted to perform an exorcism on a demon possessed individual based on something they heard the Apostle Paul say in a similar situation. The evil spirits quickly replied, "Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?" They obviously didn't have a viable answer and the outcome was extremely embarassing. If this same question was posed to you, what would you say? Do you know who you are? If you are a Christian, do you have any idea who you are? We're not talking about opinion; we're talking about the truth according to the Word of God. We need to know who we are!
Follow Me, And I Will Make You Fishers of Men
by Bob Graham (Jan 22 2012)
Jesus called His disciples with a rather succinct statement, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. In this passage, He was speaking to fishers of fish, but He was calling them to something far more significant then merely putting food on the table. Jesus call, as simple as it was, reveals our Lord's intent, a promise of instruction, and an implication for all who would follow Him faithfully. Listen carefully, for all of us who name the name of Christ, are also called to be fishers of men.
Conscious Christian Living
by Bob Graham (Feb 13 2011)
There is a theme throughout the pages of Scripture that encourages believers to be conscious of their Christian testimony. Christianity is 24/7, not just Sunday at 11. This admonition is given to all believers, young and old, men and women, regardless of our race, class or level of responsibility. God has called all of us to Conscious Christian Living.
Give God Glory - Tell His Story!
by Bob Graham (Dec 12 2010)
The shepherds were entrusted with a very special mission - to announce to the people of Bethlehem that the Christ child was born. Their midnight routine was interrupted by an amazing announcement; the angelic host resounded with choruses of praise, but the sign that was given was yet to be seen. So upon hearing the good news, these shepherds went to see for themselves and they found the Christ child just as the angel described. They heard the story, saw the Savior, told the people and returned praising their God. God gets the glory when His people tell His story.

The demoniac was so grateful, he desired to follow Jesus, but Jesus had a better idea - you need to go home and proclaim the great things God has done for you; and this he did. The people of Gadara were overwhelmed with the frightening events of the day and asked Jesus to depart from them. This He did, but He left behind one very important thing - A changed life!

by Bob Graham (Apr 4 2010)
The resurrection of Jesus Christ is without a doubt one of the greatest stories in human history. Two groups of people were witnesses of what took place at the tomb that first resurrection morning. Indeed, there was a story to tell. For one group, it was the greatest story ever told, but for the other, the greatest story never told. Of which group are you?
