Follow Me, And I Will Make You Fishers of Men
by Bob Graham (Jan 22 2012)
Jesus called His disciples with a rather succinct statement, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. In this passage, He was speaking to fishers of fish, but He was calling them to something far more significant then merely putting food on the table. Jesus call, as simple as it was, reveals our Lord's intent, a promise of instruction, and an implication for all who would follow Him faithfully. Listen carefully, for all of us who name the name of Christ, are also called to be fishers of men.
Conscious Christian Living
by Bob Graham (Feb 13 2011)
There is a theme throughout the pages of Scripture that encourages believers to be conscious of their Christian testimony. Christianity is 24/7, not just Sunday at 11. This admonition is given to all believers, young and old, men and women, regardless of our race, class or level of responsibility. God has called all of us to Conscious Christian Living.
Give God Glory - Tell His Story!
by Bob Graham (Dec 12 2010)
The shepherds were entrusted with a very special mission - to announce to the people of Bethlehem that the Christ child was born. Their midnight routine was interrupted by an amazing announcement; the angelic host resounded with choruses of praise, but the sign that was given was yet to be seen. So upon hearing the good news, these shepherds went to see for themselves and they found the Christ child just as the angel described. They heard the story, saw the Savior, told the people and returned praising their God. God gets the glory when His people tell His story.
What Jesus Left Behind at Gadara
by Bob Graham (May 2 2010)
When Jesus set foot on the shores of Gadara, He met a man who was out of control. The words of our Lord changed this man forever. The demoniac was so grateful, he desired to follow Jesus, but Jesus had a better idea - you need to go home and proclaim the great things God has done for you; and this he did. The people of Gadara were overwhelmed with the frightening events of the day and asked Jesus to depart from them. This He did, but He left behind one very important thing - A changed life!
The Greatest Story Never Told
by Bob Graham (Apr 4 2010)
The resurrection of Jesus Christ is without a doubt one of the greatest stories in human history. Two groups of people were witnesses of what took place at the tomb that first resurrection morning. Indeed, there was a story to tell. For one group, it was the greatest story ever told, but for the other, the greatest story never told. Of which group are you?
